MP Govt. sanctions Rs.19.5 lakh for liver transplant of Forest Ranger Mohammad Pyare

Bhopal, 30 Jan 2014: The Bharatiya Janata Party, (BJP), ruled Madhya Pradesh cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has sanctioned an advance of Rs.19.50 lakh for liver transplant of Mohammad Pyare, Forest Ranger, Tourism Range, National Park Van Vihar, Bhopal.

The decision by the cabinet was taken at its meeting here on Tuesday. Mohammad Pyare will be treated at Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon.

Meanwhile, the cabinet decided to withhold pension of a number of officers/ employees for irregularities in government service proved against them. Since Ms Prabha Choudhary, retired Deputy Secretary, was found guilty in departmental enquiry, it was decided to permanently withdraw 10 per cent of her pension.

It was also decided to institute departmental enquiry against A.K. S. Gaur, retired S.D.O, Mungawali in Ashok Nagar district.

It was decided to withdraw 10 percent pension of U.K. Arya, the then District Commandant, Dewas Home Guard for 5 years and pension of Premanshu Vishwas, retired DSP, Special Armed Force for 2 years. Three percent pension of S.S. Tomar, retired Deputy Director, Local Fund Examination, will be withheld while 25 percent pension of R.R. Chaube, retired Assistant Director, Local Fund Examination, Vidisha will be withheld. Recovery of Rs.1,72,733 will be made from dues of the then executive engineer PWD Avdhesh Kumar Verma for financial loss to government caused by him. At the same time, his 10 percent pension will be withheld for 2 years. It was decided to institute departmental enquiry against P.D. Verma (retired), the then executive engineer PWD, Dindori for financial irregularities.

The cabinet decided to withhold 5 percent pension of R.L. Dheengra, retired executive engineer, Water Resources Department for one year. Departmental enquiry will be conducted against A.K. Shukla, retired executive engineer, Water Resources Department and A.K. Phuskele, retired Assistant Hydrologist. It was decided to permanently withhold 30 percent pension of V.K. Hazari, retired Joint Director, Veterinary Services, Rewa. ([email protected])
