Tamil Nadu Blast: Police looking for three history-sheeters

Chidambaram (Tamil Nadu), 07 May 2014: Three local history-sheeters Santhosh, Pattabi and Surendran are on the run from police net since a crude bomb exploded here in a house on 03 May.

According to PTI, the special teams formed to track down the culprits have been making efforts to end the elusive run of Santhosh, Pattabi and Surendran, police said.

Five persons were wounded in the blast that took place in the house of Arul Prasad, an employee of a prominent university here. Arul was also wounded in the blast. According to media report, injured Arul had fled from hospital, but he was arrested on 04 May 4. Mohan Ram, another history-sheeter, was undergoing treatment at a Government hospital and is yet to be interrogated.

However, three others are still at large.

Why these five were making bombs is not yet clear.
