Makkah, 24 Sep 2015: At least 717 Haj pilgrims were reportedly killed in an stampede in Mina today. Over 800 others were wounded.
Saudi Arabia’s civil defense says that 717 pilgrims have died while at least 800 others were injured when a stampede broke out in the tent city of Mina.

Indian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted a while ago saying there has been no confirmation on Indian casualties so far. “Our Mission in Jeddah continuously monitoring situation in Makkah following tragic stampede. No confirmed casualties at this point of time,” Swarup tweeted.
