BJP suspends Member of Parliament Kirti Azad

New Delhi, 23 Dec 2015: The Bharatiya Janata Party has reportedly suspended party MP and former Indian cricketer Kirti Azad for publicly targeting Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over alleged corruption in Delhi’s cricket body DDCA which Jaitley had headed for 13 years.

According to NDTV, BJP lawmaker Kirti Azad has been suspended by the party for publicly targeting Finance Minister Arun Jaitley with allegations of corruption in DDCA.

Azad, who represents Darbhanga Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar, on Sunday had addressed a press conference in Delhi and made serious corruption charges in the DDCA.

Aam Aadmi Party had also made similar corruption charges against DDCA and Jaitley. While denying all charges, Jaitley has filed a defamation suit against AAP leader and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders.
