3-day National Social Leadership Summit begins in Delhi

New Delhi, March 05: The 2nd National Social Leadership Summit 2016 began at India Islamic Cultural Centre here in Delhi on Friday. Eminent speakers on the first day included H. D. Deve Gowda (Former Prime Minister of India), Navaid Hamid, president, All India Muslim Majlise Mushawarat, Sultan Ahmed, MP and former minister, Zafar Mehmood, president, Zakat Foundation of India, Sirajuddin Qureshi, businessman and president, IICC, Mujtaba Farooque, General Secretary, Mushawarat and Aamir Edresy, President, Association of Muslim Professionals.

The summit is being jointly organized by Movement for Empowerment of Muslim Indians (MOEMIN) – which Navaid Hamid heads – and the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) – which is headed by young social activist Aamir Edresy.
