New Delhi, 27 Sep 2015: Just a few minutes back, India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted that the number of Indian lives lost in Haj stampede in Mina has gone up to 29. In the Thursday stampede (24th Sep), 717 Haj pilgrims were crushed to death and more than 800 wounded.
“The number of Indian lives lost in Haj stampede has unfortunately gone up to 29. Our embassy officials are providing all help to the families,” tweeted Swaraj.
