New Delhi, 04 Nov 2015: Following the huge uproar over his Tuesday tweets against Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, National General Secretary of BJP Kailash Vijayvargiya has retracted his comments.
“It was not my intention to hurt anyone. I retract my tweets of yesterday,” tweeted Vijayvargiya an hour ago.
On Tuesday, in a barrage of tweets, he had condemned Khan for his comment on the growing intolerance in the country.
“Shah Rukh Khan lives in India but his heart is always in Pakistan. His films earn crores of rupees here but India appears intolerant to him. What is it if not treason?” the BJP leader had said.
