New Delhi, Jan 31: Senior parliamentarian and former Union Minister E. Ahamed reportedly fell down during the address of President Pranab Mukherjee at the Central Hall of the Parliament House here today. He was rushed to the RML Hospital.
According to ANI news agency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has enquired about health condition of Indian Union Muslim League MP.
Sources say Ahamed is in ICU and his condition is a little serious.
President was addressing the both houses of Parliament on the first day of Budget Session.
Ahamed, who has represented Kerala’s Malappuram constituency in Lok Sabha, was junior Foreign Affairs Minister during the Manmohan Singh government.
