Congress Takes Big Lead in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh

New Delhi, Dec 11: After two hours of counting of votes, the Opposition Congress has taken a big lead over the ruling BJP in all three states currently under the rule of the saffron party.

In Rajasthan, the Congress was leading on 99 seats with a gain of 79 seats while BJP was trailing on 77 seats with a loss of 80 seats.The elections in Rajasthan were held for 199 seats.

In another BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh, the Opposition Congress is leading on 103 seats with a gain of 50 seats while the ruling BJP is trailing on 94 seats with the loss of 56 seats. The elections were held for 230-member Assembly.

After initially trailing, the Congress has taken a massive lead over the ruling BJP in Chhattisgarh also. The Congress is leading 52 seats in the 90-member Assembly while BJP is struggling with 25 seats.
