New Delhi, April 5: Students, academics and activists on Thursday protested at Bihar Bhavan in New Delhi against the recent communal riots in various parts of Bihar. They shouted slogans against the Nitesh Kumar led Bihar government and demanded for a probe and punish the guilty people .
Former Member of Parliament Ali Anwar has said that these riots were pre planned but state police and the government didn’t do anything. He said that usually in Ram Navmi juloos people participate with their own swords and lathi but this time mostly people have new one. According to him the riots were very much planned and these swords and lathis were distributed among the people.
Anwar accused state police and government for being mere spectators on this bloodbath.
Maimoona Mulla of All India Democratic Women’s Association and Dr Ratan Lal of Delhi University also addressed the gathering.
