Muscat (Oman), 24 June 2014: The South African Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Major General Chris Pepani lauded IndiaTomorrow.net for its coverage of the parliamentary elections held in South Africa recently. The ambassador was referring to the political analysis done by senior Indian journalist Ahmed Mohiuddin Siddiqui in his article Nelson Mandela’s legacy zooms Zuma to power again, published on the New Delhi-based news portal on 24 May 2014.

Maj. Gen. Pepani pointed out the historical friendly relations between India and South Africa. He recalled his visits to New Delhi. Ahmed Mohiuddin Siddiqui met the ambassador in Muscat and handed over a memento — a photographic blow up of the article to him.

An elated Maj. Gen. Pepani expressed his gratitude to the Editor-in-Chief, Editor and the entire team at IndiaTomorrow.net. He appreciated the efforts made by this online newspaper regarding the coverage of foreign affairs particularly about Indo-South Africa relations.
