Three days before Bihar debut, MIM wins 4 seats in Maharashtra civic body poll

Mumbai, 02 Nov 2015: Just three days ahead of its debut poll contest in Bihar’s Seemanchal region, an energising piece of news has come for All India Majlis-e Ittehadul Muslimin of Asaduddin Owaisi from Maharashtra. The party of Hyderabad MP has won four out of six seats it contested in the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation. Results were announced a short while ago.The party has also won two seats in Lature civic body poll.

While Shiv Sena is leading on 37 seats, BJP is leading on 25 seats.

For the first time, AIMIM has fielded its candidates in the Bihar Assembly elections. The party is contesting on six seats in the Seemanchal region of the state which is going to poll in the fifth and last phase on 5th Nov.
