New Delhi, April 26: In the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections, 14 Muslim candidates have got success – seven of them are male and seven female. While 7 have got success on Aam Aadmi Party’s ticket, 6 on Congress ticket and 1 has won as BSP candidate.

There are three municipal corporations in Delhi. In the 104-ward MCD North, five are Muslim winners and in the 104-ward MCD South, there are three Muslim winners. In the 64-ward MCD East, six Muslims have won.
Party-wise, BJP has emerged as the winner in all three municipal corporations. In total, the party has won 181 wards out of 270, AAP 48 and Congress 30.
