Clear Victory for Congress in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan: ABP News Exit Poll

New Delhi, Dec 7: While some exit poll surveys have predicted a tight race between Congress and BJP in Madhya Pradesh and a clear victory for Congress in Rajasthan, the ABP News TV channel has given a clear victory for the Congress in both BJP-ruled states. However, the channel has predicted a clear and fourth consecutive victory for BJP in Chhattisgarh.

According to the exit poll of the channel, Congress will get a very comfortable majority in Madhya Pradesh with 126 seats in the 230-member Assembly while the ruling BJP will be restricted to 94 seats.

In the 200-member Assembly of Rajasthan, Congress will also get a majority. Out of 199, the channel has predicted 101 seats for Congress and 83 seats for BJP while 15 seats for others.

Other Exit Polls
The exit polls by TV channels predict a photo finish for the ruling BJP and Opposition Congress in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The exit poll results were out after polling ended in Rajasthan and Telangana this evening. Voting for MP, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram were held last month. Votes for all five states will counted on December 11.

While Times Now-CNX poll shows BJP getting 126 seats and Congress 89 in Madhya Pradesh, India Today-Axis My India poll gives 102-120 seats to BJP and 104-122 seats to Congress. The majority mark in the 230-member Assembly is 115 seats.

Chhattisgarh is heading for a tighter race between the two main parties.

Times Now- CNX gives BJP 46 seats and Congress 35 seats while BSP alliance will get 7 seats. News 24- Pace Media project 36-42 seats for BJP and 45-51 seats for Congress while India TV gives BJP 42-50 seats and 32-38 seats to Congress. The polls were held for 90-member Assembly.

However, all exit polls are predicting a clear defeat for BJP in Rajasthan.

India Today – Axis My India survey gives the ruling BJP 55-72 seats and Congress a clear majority with 119-141 seats. Times Now – CNX gives BJP 85 seats and Congress 105 seats. The majority mark in the desert state is 100 in the 200-member Assembly. The poll was held for only 199 seats as a candidate died days before polling.

For Telangana, Times Now – CNX is giving 66 seats to the ruling TRS and 37 to Congress.

For Mizoram, Republic C-Voters has predicted 14-18 seats for the ruling Congress and 16-20 for MNF. BJP will get zero seat.
