NEW DELHI—The enforcement directorate on Tuesday raided the office of news portal Newsclick.in and residences of several persons connected with it.
Reports say that the raids were conducted in connection with a money-laundering case.
Besides raiding the offices of the news portal, the ED sleuths are reported to have also conducted raids at the residences of the portal’s owner Prabir Purkayastha and its editor Pranjal.
It may be noted that Abishar Sharma hosts two YouTube programmes for Newsclick.
