NEW DELHI–Supreme Court on Friday granted bail to Kerala journalist Siddique Kappan., reports Bar and Bench.
Kappan was in jail for the last two years in a case booked against him by UP police under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention( Act (UAPA).
He was arrested by the police in Mathura when he was on his way to Hathras to cover the gang rape and murder of a Dalit girl for his Malayalam portal Azhimukham.
