New Delhi, 22 Sep 2014: Now it appears that while India Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed over-the-top hospitality with Chinese President Xi Jinping both in Ahmedabad and New Delhi, the Chinese army, it is unthinkable to believe that Jinping was kept in dark, intruded in the Indian territory in Ladakh several times in last two weeks.

The repeated incursion sting is so painful that in just two days after the great show of hospitality, India on Sunday decided to cancel the bilateral media dialogue with China. The media summit was scheduled for 24th Sep in New Delhi.

The central government has withdrawn clearances for Chinese editors who were coming to Delhi this week for a media exchange with Indian journalists. Media reports say this media event takes every year.

“Due to unavoidable complications, we have had to postpone the India-China Media Exchange. We thank you all for agreeing to participate on Sep 24th — and dinner — and we will call on your participation again when we hold the event. But for now, it stands cancelled,” the organisers have been quoted as saying to the invitee Indian journalists.

The organizers said they got a one-line fax message from the Indian government that clearances for the media summit have been withdrawn.
