New Delhi, April 29— The Congress on Monday moved the Supreme Court against the Election Commission for alleged inaction on complaints against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah.

The Congress claimed that the two leaders have used military operations as propaganda during the election campaign but the poll panel did not act against them despite various complaints.

Congress Lok Sabha MP Sushmita Dev requested the top court to order the poll body to take action on the complaints against Modi and Shah.

In her petition, she has cited several speeches in which, she said, the top two BJP leaders violted the model code of conduct by seeking votes in the name of military operations despite the ban imposed the Election Commission last month.
